ABOUT US

What is Student
Interactive Society

Student Interactive Society (SIS) is a student-led community built around connection, collaboration, creativity, and leadership. We exist to give students a space to meet people outside their usual circles, take on real responsibility, and build the kind of experience that a classroom alone can't offer.

Our work is organized around four core pillars, run by student volunteers who plan events, workshops, and initiatives all year round — bringing the SLIIT student community together to learn, connect, and lead.

What We Do

SIS brings students together through a diverse range of engaging events, initiatives, and opportunities designed to strengthen connections, encourage collaboration, and support personal and professional growth throughout the academic year. From social and recreational activities to educational and community-focused initiatives, SIS creates a vibrant environment where students can connect with one another, discover new interests, and actively contribute to campus life.

Through our events and projects, we aim to create meaningful experiences that go beyond the classroom. We encourage students to develop their leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while building lasting friendships and connections across the university community. Whether through exciting campus events, knowledge-sharing sessions, leadership opportunities, or community initiatives, SIS provides a platform for students to participate, grow, and make a positive impact.

At SIS, every initiative is an opportunity to connect, collaborate, grow, and create lasting memories.
